Job title: Software engineering Project Manager (NAEP) FLSA Status: Full time, Salary, Exempt Clearance: Expertise to obtain a Public Trust Location: Centreville, VA Manager: Program Manager Summary: The Software engineering Project Manager will assist the Project Manager and Deputy Director in the day to day management of the NAEP program including the development and maintenance of NAEP projects. The manager will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of 1 or more software engineering projects and will work with the project teams in an Agile environment to plan, develop and deliver project priorities, sprints, levels of effort, milestones, and deliverables. The perfect applicant will be someone with excellent public speaking skills, is passionate about software engineering, well versed in Agile software engineering techniques, and capable of learning all aspects of the NAEP program that currently employs around 80 staff.
