Position description The Estimator is responsible for creating cost quotes for items by creating Materials Masters, Bill of Materials and Routings. Assignments include assisting customers define item/part requirements, production process research, material identification and sourcing, cost analysis and tooling documentation. Responsibilities Critical functions: Create raw materials, finished goods and BOM/routings in SAP Complete quotes in SAP Creating step-by-step Production process creations Review prints, drawings and specs to determine capability Consider material availability, manufacturing capability and geographical locations before quoting Determine cost analysis and tooling type Communicate with Sales and customers to determine requirements Communicate costs and quotes to Sales and customers Create Material Masters, Bill of Materials and Routings for all new opportunities to
