Environmental Scientist - (South Windsor, CT)

Aerotek's client, a national environmental consulting and contracting company is seeking an Environmental Technician to join its team in South Windsor, CT. This person will be responsible for traveling to different client sites throughout Connecticut, Western Mass, and the Albany area. Position assignments include: Using instrumentation/equipment to perform landfill gas monitoring Report writing and some operations/maintenance on pumping systems as needed. The position is 90% in the field and 10% in the office. Qualified candidates will have: Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science or a related position Desire to work in a hands-on, field orientated role Knowledge of field testing such as: groundwater sampling, soil sampling, air monitoring.
