Security Guard - (Flushing, NY)

Summary: The Cornerstone Community Center security guard is responsible for securing the personnel, clients and premises, including enforcing and maintaining order in the center. The security guard will need to have basic computer knowledge and data entry skill during the scheduled work hours. Critical functions: Assist in the distribution and Marketing of the Cornerstone Programs Assure that all participants parents, and guests are signed in the Cornerstone sign in books/sheets and present identification prior to entering the program. All particpants and/or intruders picked up for infractions will be referred to the Administrators at the Cornerstone. Patrol center and grounds regularly to prevent and/or detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of center doors, windows and gates. Document any unusual occurrences (i.e. property and/or equipment damage, theft and injury) Must keep daily log (journal) of all incidents/occurences and/or inquires made at the front desk.
