The University of Cincinnati, Office of the Controller is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its central accounting team. This is a new full time position. The Controller?s Office is primarily responsible for the integrity of the accounting data in the enterprise software (SAP), financial reporting, and the annual external audit. Key responsibilities: Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts Document processes and procedures Participate in the preparation of the university?s annual financial report including footnotes and required supplementary schedules Participate in the year-end closing process Prepare various quarterly and annual financial reports Provide support and accounting guidance to departments and colleges within the university Provide support to external auditors Review and post accounting documents in SAP Minimum experience:
