Aspen School District is seeking applicants who are qualified for the following position(s): Aspen High-school English Language Arts Teacher Job Description: Aspen High-school seeks 2 English Language Arts teachers to begin duties in January 2017. Applications will be screened as received until the vacancy is filled. Job description: The English language arts teacher instructs 1 or more classes of English to students in grades 9-12, strengthening students' reading comprehension, grammar, and writing proficiencies as well as providing the skills necessary to appreciate and critique literature. This teacher also assists in other school programs as assigned by the school principal. Reports to: Aspen High-school Principal Qualifications: Candidates must possess a current, initial or professional Colorado teaching license with an endorsement in English Language Arts grades 7-12 or be eligible to obtain this license within the 1st three months of hire.
