Chaplain - PT - (Worthington, MN)

We are currently seeking a Part-time Chaplain for our Worthington program . The hours will be 24 hours per week. The Chaplain will be responsible for the assessment and provision of spiritual/pastoral counseling to patients, families and caregivers. Although Hospice background would be preferred, it is not necessary. Must be a graduate on an accredited seminary of Theology, Masters of Divinity is preferred. Position duties will include but not be limited to: Spiritual/pastoral assessment as soon as possible after admission. Spiritual/pastoral support provided in accordance with ongoing wishes and needs of patient/ family. Knowledge of and expertise to utilize a variety of religious resources (i.e. prayer, meditation, scripture, etc.) Offer patients/families of different philosophies and religious perspective opportunities to discuss and share their thoughts, feelings, beliefs and values.
