The client is seeking a Senior Direct Endorsement Underwriter in West Chester, PA. Required Education and Background Ten (10) years of Direct Endorsement Mortgage underwriting background. Proficient issue solving, communication and servicing skill in interaction with employees and with expertise to exercise flexibility in addressing issues. Detail oriented combined with strong organizational and time management expertise required. Expertise to Work with high degree of accuracy and quality in a high volume atmosphere. Technical competency required in Calyx Loan Origination System, Ms word and Ms excel. Summary of Position The Sr. Mortgage DE Underwriter working in conjunction with the Director of Mortgage Lending is responsible for reviewing, approving and denying residential mortgage loan applications. The Senior Underwriter will evaluate the borrower?s expertise to repay a loan; review loan file documentation for completeness and check for red flags fraud alerts.
