Pipe Designer - (Parkersburg, WV)

TSR has a long-term contract Pipe Designer position available in Parkersburg, WV with 1 of the largest EPC firms in the country. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Expertise to work autonomously as well as in a team environment • Perform the necessary fieldwork, pulling measurements, locating tie-ins, as-building existing systems, etc. develop detailed scopes. • Work from P&ID's, client specifications and vendor data to design complex piping systems for chemical facility. • Create isometrics, pipe supports • Ensures that completed design is functional, maintainable and designed with safety and that all applicable codes have been followed and maintain • Interface with other disciplines REQUIREMENTS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Knowledgeable in the design and layout of process piping and equipment in chemical facilities or refineries • Autocad background required; Microstation preferred
