Automotive Applications Engineer (ACTIVE Safety) - (Farmington Hills, MI)

Renesas Electronics America is seeking an Applications Engineer with background in automotive embedded development relating to active safety systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding and explaining Renesas 32-bit MCU device features, and creating practical and novel application examples (hardware and software) which showcase and demonstrate their usage in automotive applications such as braking systems, steering control, traction control and similar systems. Responsibilities: ? Review/understand specifications and evaluate in the context of customer applications ? Provide technical support to customers and field application teams on design and development utilizing Renesas products ? Demonstrate system solutions, evaluation boards, starter kits, prototypes and reference designs ? Create and develop hardware and software demos and application examples showing device features and functionality
