Brief Description: Principle assignments include program implementation, formulating lesson plans, supervising and evaluating children in classroom activities, and completing paperwork. Min Qualifications: Bachelors degree in ECE preferred May accept a baccalaureate or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education (at least 24 credit hours in ECE or child development), with background teaching preschool-age children At least 1 year of related skills 1st Aid, Communicable Illness and Child Abuse recognition training Maintains current physicals and TB tests per current regulations Able to bend, squat, sit with children and lift up to 40 lbs. Basic technical skills and familiarity with Word Expertise to work with diverse populations Willingness to work flexible scheduling and occasional overtime Fluency in a language other than English, or musical expertise a plus
