Position title: EHS Engineer Job ID:15989 Location:North Haven CT 06473 Duration:twelve months Position summary: The Sr. Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties under general direction to contribute to the efforts and effectiveness of the environmental, health and safety of the organization as well as participating in the evolution of those efforts within Clients and its subsidiaries. These functions include consultative and advisory resources to the Company with regard to regulatory qualifications of the Federal and State Agency (EPA and CT DEEP respectively), DOT and other environmental regulations, as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), industrial hygiene, accident prevention, workers compensation, health services, and employee wellness. Job assignments: Determine the impact that new environmental, health and safety laws and regulations will have on facility operations.
