Quality Assurance & Safety Coordinator Palmer Candy Company- Sioux City, IA Classification Non Exempt Reports to Quality Assurance & Safety Manager Date 12/27/16 POSITION DESCRIPTION Summary/Objective Responsible for the maintenance of the company Quality Assurance and Safety programs. Ensures ongoing compliance with all policies and procedures related to QA and Safety and continuously updates the programs when necessary. Support and assist in the development, implementation, review, verification and validation activities of the SQF System, including food safety fundamentals and the food safety plan. ? Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity of the SQF System. ? Drive the sampling program for outside lab analysis.
