As a Local P&D (pick and delivery) valid drivers license Class A Truck Driver in Fishersville, VA , you would be driving a single axle day cab pulling a 48 or 53ft dry van trailer. You'll certainly enjoy being on the road, not to mention the daily contact with a broad range of customers. An early start is required for what is a long but rewarding day. In the morning you would be making multiple stops to deliver one or 2 pallets at each stop. Then in the afternoon the empty truck is used to pick up freight at different shippers on another route, one or 2 pallets each stop.
