Factory Automation Engineer Foot Levelers, Inc. Roanoke, VA 24012 Reports To: Operations Manager with dotted line to CTO FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: This position will be an integral part of the business operations. You will be responsible for the development of new software tools to ensure the efficient flow of the factory floor. These tools will interface directly with our production line so the expertise to work with hardware is a must. We run a clean, high volume, mass customization shop so data integrity and tracking is critical. This includes machine-vision QC inspection, database management, generation of work instructions, and generally interfacing to a variety of electro-mechanical production systems . Working with the in-house development team you will develop a comprehensive plan to upgrade our legacy systems as well as identify and develop new systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
