Operations Manager, Organics Products Manufacturing - (Nashville, TN)

The Operations Manager directs and is accountable for successfully operating a local organics products processing site. The OM position is responsible for effective management of the processes, people and equipment associated with production and distribution for the business. The basic operation includes receiving inbound organic material and manufacturing into finished product sold to Nurseries, Landscape Companies, and Retail Customers. Operations staff includes scale & administrative personnel, equipment operators and truck drivers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Direct and coordinate the activities associated with the production facility. This includes planning, production and distribution of organic mulch products Manage the employee group, prepare work schedules, set employee goals and assign specific duties as necessary Complete annual performance reviews for all employees and provide timely coaching to assure your team is engaged and working effectively
