Housekeeper - (Brewster, NY)

Housekeepers will see that a clean, sanitary, therapeutic environment is consistently maintained for all residents and staff and will follow all cleaning procedures and checklists in the Housekeeping Manual. Duties include: dusting, emptying garbage, cleaning receptacles, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning and restocking bathrooms and keeping supply and storage closets stocked and clean. The Housekeeper reports to the Team Leader for their assigned area. Satisfactorily fulfill qualifications for employment at Green Chimneys Knowledge/Skills • Able to receive verbal and written instructions and fulfill such instructions. • Able to lift 75 pounds. • Able to operate heavy floor equipment (floor scrubber, burnisher and buffer.) Physical/Mental Qualifications (ADA Compliance) In order to perform the essential duties of the job, the incumbent must be able to speak, hear and see. Must have the expertise to work within a time schedule to meet the needs of mealtime.
