Software Engineer Job - (Annapolis Junction, MD)

Job Number: 01221427 Key Role: Work as a software engineer developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, and the manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management info systems based upon documented qualifications. Work individually or as part of a team. Review and test software components for adherence to the design qualifications and documents test results. Resolve software problem reports. Use software engineering and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware or software trade-offs, software reuse, the use of Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) or Government off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and qualifications analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
