Peer Mentor - (Detroit, MI)

Provides mentorship support to male participants, ages 17-24 enrolled in youth services programming within the Flip the Script array of services including academic tutorial, one-on-one and group counseling and guidance related to quality life, social and employment achievement. 1. Provide customers relevant life and social skills awareness and mentorship. 2. Develop and maintain adequate records and reporting of program participants progress on activities, 3. Schedule and document regular trainee services activities under the direction of the Program Director to counsel and empower customer employment retention. 4. Assist associated staff in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of documentation to provide progress towards program outcomes. 5. Maintain cooperative and positive relationships with customers/peers, program staff, school officials, parents/guardians and family members of youth served.
