Optical Warehouse - Lens Mounter - Sioux City, Iowa - (Sioux City, IA)

Volt is looking for a Lens Mounter to work with our client, an optics focused company, located in Sioux City, Iowa, where the chosen applicant will be responsible for inserting the lenses in to the glasses frame to ensure the proper fit. Position assignments/Duties: • Duties in this position are usually repetitive. • Specific duties for this position include inspecting the condition of the lens and frame and inserting and securing lenses into the frame. • Mount lenses by inserting and securing them into the frame. • Utilize screwdriver and/or other tools as needed for frame type. 55% Inspect frames for scratches or defects, verify frame type, and perform cosmetic inspection of the lenses. • Check alignment of frame, lenses and temples. • Dot the lens markings to check for lens alignment. • Inspect mounting tools for defects, broken padding, etc. to avoid scratches. • Perform other duties within the finishing department or other areas as assigned.
