Senior Research Specialist Horticulture - (Gervais, OR)

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, with sales of more than $3 billion, is the world's leading supplier of consumer products for lawn and garden care with brands including Scotts, Miracle-Gro, Ortho, and Tomcat. Scotts Research & Development is seeking a Senior Research Specialist to conduct biological research to develop new products. The Senior Research Specialist will be located at the Scotts Oregon Research Station, a 73-acre facility located in Gervais, Oregon. Research will be focused on developing value-added live goods for consumers, such as vegetables, annual bedding plants and baskets. The Senior Research Specialist will also conduct trial work to launch innovative garden fertilizers, compost, mulch and pesticide products, both conventional and natural. The Senior Research Specialist will conduct research in other categories as needed, such as products for lawn care, grass seed and hydroponic systems.
