ATARID, Nationwide Specialist Recruiters to the Property, Hospitality and Asset Management Industries are being retained by our Client, a property management corporation who is seeking an experienced: Accounting Manager Job Id# EB-460412XXXX Responsibilities: Lead and mentor staff in their responsibilities and development Ensure accounting processes are handled in a timely manner to facilitate the preparation of the monthly financial statements Ensure details is provided in a timely manner to external auditors Answer questions to ensure timely completion of audits Review audit drafts for accuracy and approve for issuance Ensure reports required by state statute are submitted in timely manner Supervise 15-20 staff including Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants and Bookkeepers Background & Requirements: 5+ years of full cycle accounting background ideally within public or governmental accounting Background supervising audits and reviewing audited financial statements
