Sr. Principal Engineer, Next Generation 911 and Voice over IP Systems - (Westwood, MA)

Job overview Responsible for the design, development, testing, documenting, and support of implementation/operations of Details Systems/Details Technology infrastructure solutions, particularly for high-availability hosted Voice over Internet Protocol, Session Initiation Protocol systems. 1. Analyze, document, and present all related regulatory, architectural, and operational requirements applicable to develop Next Generation 911 (NG911) solution sets 2. Assess, document, and maintain Service Level Agreement, System Availability, Capacity Management, and Performance based Key Performance Indicators for NG911 solutions 3. Conduct, document, and present vendor evaluation to validate vendor solutions meet all NG911 system requirements 4. Develops, documents, and presents 1 or more NG911 system engineering solutions to include technical analysis, functional analysis, high-level design, detailed design, physical/logical diagrams, and operational/ sustainment designs 5.
