Entry Level Graphics Illustrator - (Las Vegas, NV)

POSITION OVERVIEW - CRITICAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Under general supervision of a senior Illustrator or other immediate supervisor, incumbent prepares clear, complete, and accurate illustrations, charts, graphs, working drawings, detail drawings, graphs, visual aids, and other original art work for proposals, technical manuals, and other documents using computer software. 1. Prepares drawings using computers, scanners, printers, laminators, and plotters in concert with multiple software packages. 2. Creates charts, graphs, and illustrations. 3. Creates plaques, place cards, name tags, signs, certificates, floor plans, seating charts, logos, and cartoons. 4. Creates Laminate, paste up, and lay out mechanical drawings. 5. Creates non-document graphics for various purposes. 6. Requires rendering a traditional media (pen and ink, charcoal, watercolors, etc.). 7. Operates cameras, automatic graphics system computers, laser printers, and film recorders.
