HOSPITAL POLICE OFFICER - Security Services - (Christiansburg, VA)

Support Carilion`s hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all position duties. Provides professional law enforcement services to the Carilion Clinic. These services include carrying out the objectives of the Clinic, the preservation of peace and protection of life and property, the prevention of crime and the enforcement of laws. Min Experience required Education: High-school or equivalent required. Background: No background required, but previous law enforcement or security background is preferred. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: (1) Has met Virginia min training standards for law enforcement officers and is currently certified as a law enforcement officer by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, or; is eligible to attend and successfully complete such training within 1yr of being hired. (2) Valid Virginia driver`s license required.
