Electrical Assembler needed in Hackettstown area. M-F 7am-3:30 pm, compensation dependent on background $13-15/hr Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment. Build products such as electric motors, computers, electronic control devices, and sensing equipment. Primary Function: To set up equipment to assemble, repair, and test production components, sub-assemblies and assemblies for electronic/electrical converters within the rail industry. General Duties: Receives written and/or verbal instructions, prints, and work orders. Interprets electromechanical prints, drawings, and sketches. Obtains tooling and fixtures. Sets up and performs both hand and automatic assembly operations necessary for the assembly and repair of components, sub-assemblies, or assemblies. Makes and revises set ups on test strands calibrated by others.
