Senior Underwriter, Architects, Engineers and Design Consultants - (Alpharetta, GA)

Responsibilities: Play a key role in working within the business unit underwriting risks for various lines of Professional Liability classes including: Architects, Engineers and Design Consultants. Develop a portfolio that helps in the department's goals of growing a profitable book of business across all lines. Work with assigned broker relationships and source business focusing on growth and profitability goals of the department. Take an active role in partnering with the Navigators management team to further identify production sources and identify profitable market opportunities and product/industry trends. Analyze individual risks and establish a portfolio with profitable results to manage and control underwriting exposure and pricing strategy consistent with company objectives and guidelines. Qualifications: Strong agency/broker relationships. 3-5yrs underwriting background. Analytical skills. Negotiation skills. Analytical skills.
