JSTARS Test Engineer (TMAS-Scientist/Engneer 4) with Security Clearance - (Shalimar, FL)

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FINAL APPROVAL OF FUNDING. This position provides support to the 46 Test Squadron at Eglin AFB. This support includes the following: + Performs as a member of the JSTARS ReCapitalization (ReCap) test team. + Plans and conducts initial and regression developmental tests on various system relative to JSTARS. + Directly supports other engineers when interacting with System Program Offices, other services, Joint Battle Labs as well as development contractors. + Writes test plans, procedures, and is a major contributor to the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), or reviews technical test plans and reports for technical accuracy. + Generates mission threads, vignettes and test cards to support developmental tests + Develops and reviews test architectures for the system under test and coordinates test assets, support assets, and data collection device availability to ensure successful test events. + Records and reports findings on system performance to the customer.
