Patent Administrator / IP Paralegal - (Leander, TX)

Seeking an Intellectual Property Patent Administrator for our Austin, TX law firm. The perfect applicant should possess a working understanding of U.S. patent preparation and prosecution. Additional background in docketing or foreign patent prosecution is helpful. Previous background with Foundation IP is also a plus. Must have a high-level of attention to detail, excellent time management and expertise of work unaided. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Receiving, tracking and reporting out correspondence received from USPTO and foreign agents Developing and maintaining knowledge of patent office rules and procedures Developing, understanding and documenting client procedures and special instructions Filing new patent applications, including any necessary transmittal documents Filing prosecution related documents, such as office action responses, including necessary transmittal documents
