Certified/Experienced Veterinary Technicians - (Minneapolis, MN)

BluePearl Minnesota in Blaine is looking for a qualified, certified veterinary technician to join our ICU department. The ideal candidate would have a passion for emergency medicine and be able to work in a quick paced environment as well as attention to detail when taking care of patients. Schedule: Three 12 hour overnight shifts with a rotating schedule (Monday, Friday & Saturday 1 week, then Tuesday-Thursday the next week) Requirements: Must have a min of 1 -- 2 yrs' experience in a veterinary hospital and be a certified veterinary technician. Emergency and specialty experience preferred. Should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, able to multi-task efficiently, and have strong communication abilities and compassion. Assignments include but not limited to: Triage and obtain patient history Venipuncture Placing intravenous catheters Perform CPR Perform radiographs Patient care including diagnostic procedures and treatments Anesthesia monitoring
