Experienced Veterinary Technicians - (Anchorage, KY)

BluePearl Kentucky in Louisville is seeking licensed veterinary technicians or experienced veterinary technicians to join our growing emergency department. The perfect candidate would have a passion for emergency medicine and be able to work in a high energy environment. Requirements: Preferred to be licensed in Kentucky, but will consider background. A min of 2 " 3yrs background in a veterinary hospital, with emergency preferred. Should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, able to multi-task efficiently, and have outstanding communication abilities and compassion. Assignments include but not limited to: Triage and obtain patient history Venipuncture Placing intravenous catheters Perform CPR Perform radiographs Patient care including diagnostic procedures and treatments Anesthesia monitoring Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients Benefits: Competitive wages Health insurance to include medical, dental and vision Employee discount
