Registered/Experienced Veterinary Technician - (Lee's Summit, MO)

BluePearl Kansas City in Lees Summit, MO is looking for a qualified registered veterinary technician or experienced technician to join our growing internal medicine department with an additional shift in the ER. The perfect applicant would be a team member and must be proficient in anesthesia while supporting the clinician with patient care. Schedule: IM - Tuesday " Thursday, 8a-6p, ER- Sat TBD Requirements: Preferred to be registered , but will consider background. A min of 2 yrs' background in a veterinary hospital, with specialty or emergency preferred. Should be self-motivated, a quick thinker, able to multi-task efficiently, and have great communication expertise and compassion. Assignments include but not limited to: Triage and obtain patient history Venipuncture Placing intravenous catheters as well as central lines Perform radiographs Inducing and monitoring anesthesia for advanced diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy and CT Intensive treatment and patient care
