Warehouse Supervisor ââ?¬â?? Second Shift - (Bowling Green, KY)

I. PURPOSE / SUMMARY: This position is accountable for supervising, coordinating, training and developing 1 or more groups on a particular shift that are engaged in receipt, warehousing, ticketing, picking, packing, and shipping. Supervises, organizes, and assigns work to ensure it is completed in accordance with internally established procedures, good management practices, quality and safety. II. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: A. Supervises, coordinates, and participates in receiving, storage, picking, packing, and ticketing in an order fulfillment operation requiring knowledge of material logistics processes, internal inventory systems, and production/order requirements. B. Organizes and assigns work on a particular shift to utilize available skills, knowledge and experience, labor hours, machines and tools to the best advantages to obtain the most favorable costs, accuracy, and completeness. C. Provides regular training, instruction and guidance. Maintains close supervision over orders and receipts.
