Quality Engineer - (Janesville, WI)

QUALITY ENGINEER AMTEC Corporation, a contract manufacturer of mechanical and electromechanical devices, is accepting applications for a Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer will support the production team and share ownership for the overall performance of multiple product lines. Responsibilities to incl. (but not limited to): monitor production assembly processes focusing on improving efficiency, participate in production team meetings to help drive continuous improvement establish/monitor inspe- ction plans based on customer required acceptance criteria, ensure compliance to customer qualifications as well as AMTEC's Quality Management System, write and incorporate detailed work instructions, plan and conduct quality audits while conveying findings through formal reporting, provide Engineering assistance for lot acceptance test qualifications, and provide guidance as necessary to Quality Technicians. Position necessitates effective communication and management expertise.
