Packaging Machine Mechanic - (Arabi, LA)

Description/Position details The No. one Auto Machine Mechanic is responsible for maintenance on high speed packaging equipment in an industrial food facility. This position is responsible for routine maintenance, infield adjustments and complete breakdowns of equipment. Responsibilities/Duties Lay out, assemble, install, maintain, repair and test complicated mechanical and closely allied equipment such as clutch assemblies, gear head motors, reduction drive units, high pressure glue pumps, etc. on high speed packaging equipment. Perform major and difficult repairs to all type of packaging equipment from instruction books, sketches and other specifications. Perform all jobs in accordance with established safety practices and sanitation standards. Operate high speed packing equipment.
