LEGAL ASSISTANT The State Public Defender is accepting applications for a Legal Assistant in the Jackson Office. Individual will assist attorneys with client intake interviews and case preparation; copying discovery materials; summarizing client files; preparing reports; serving subpoenas; conducting legal research; and assisting in court. Requirements: Education equivalent to graduation from high-school and 3yrs of clerical experience. Legal experience desired. Salary is $2128/month plus State of Missouri benefits.
