Foundry Product Development Engineer - Magma - (Madison, WI)

You MUST understand the flow of molten metal to be qualified for this job and must be knowledgeable in the use of MAGMAOur client is a foundry serving primarily the automotive industry. They need a Product Development Engineer who will work to bring products from the design stage into reality. The key to this position is knowledge of MAGMA (molten metal). Background is more important than academics in this role. This position is located near Madison and company provides career advancement opportunities. Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of patterns and core boxes using Magma in order to meet established production schedules, while working to exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail Exercise max care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures. Follow up and assist in the resolution of production problems related to tooling.
