Correctional Officer Looking for Male and Female Correctional Officers! The Western Virginia Regional Jail is seeking Correctional Officer candidates. Starting salary is $35,700. The position involves routine protective service work providing care and maintaining security for the inmates within the facility and processing inmates into custody. Must be 20yrs of age, must possess a high-school degree or GED, be a US citizen, and be able to pass a experience screening. Entry level or DCJS certified opportunities available. Must be willing to work twelve hour shifts on a rotating day/night schedule.
