Quality Assurance Manager - Northern Midwest Location - (Clayton, NC)

POSITION OVERVIEW: The QA/QC Manager is responsible for the execution of plant site quality control analysis process and continuous quality improvement of product and process. Works closely with General Manager, Plant Managers and Production Supervisors to implement process changes, including necessary documentation, corrective actions, production instructions, pictorials, SOPs. Drives quality and continuous improvement throughout the production process. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS: Develops and maintains American Petroleum Institute (API) Q1 Quality Management System (QMS) accreditation process. Manages eight to 12 Quality Control Lab Techs at all plant facilities. Leads investigations of Internal, Customer, and Supplier non-conformances to determine root cause and corrective action. Works with the General Manager, Plant Managers, and Production Supervisors to determine where process parameter variations occur, recommending changes, as necessary, documenting analysis data.
