Senior Project Manager, Publications (WP) (812-679) - (Rockville, MD)

The Senior Project Manager Publications is responsible for leading complex, strategic, cross functional projects with a high-level of autonomy; leads and coordinates the systems and processes necessary to support the flow of documentary standard content through all systems, from file retrieval to publishing in all formats. The incumbent will have a deep understanding of the workflow for all publications, the systems that process the files, and touch points with other departments. The incumbent will develop and maintain a ---roadmap--- for publishing, and act as an advocate for improvements to the content management and publishing systems within the department, including those used for version control, change management, and content delivery. The incumbent will operate with a high-level of autonomy and be responsible for applying a variety of skills to understand and manage multiple related projects forward to completion while coordinating with other business units as necessary.
