LocksmithOperations & Maintenance Primary Function: Under general supervision, responsible for security of all building doors, safes, vaults, fire files, and locking devices; maintains security for the university key system by changing locks, supplying keys and installing hardware; repairs and installs panic bars, exit alarms, closers, and hinges; records and updates info related to keys and electronic access, combinations and lock locations for filing system; and troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electronic door locks.Job requirements: Four Years of experience in the trade, including apprenticeship.Preferred Requirements:Commercial hardware installation or an equivalent of vocational or on-the-job training and a valid driver's license preferred.
