Position Announcement Executive Director The North Country Trail Association (NCTA) headquartered in Lowell, Michigan is seeking a dynamic leader to serve in the role of Executive Director. The position reports to the Board of Directors. The NCTA operates under cooperative agreement with the National Park Service (NPS) through the North Country National Scenic Trail (NCNST) Park Superintendent. NCTA is NPS’s major partner in developing, promoting, maintaining, and protecting the NCNST through a trail wide coalition of volunteers and partners. As the longest of the National Scenic Trails, this 4600mi foot path traverses the country from Vermont to North Dakota leading the walker through majestic scenery, rural beauty, and rich historic areas.
