Claims Coordinator - (Danville, VA)
Overview: Responsibilities: Manage claims to point of resolution Reviews and analyzes all claims. Responds in writing to appropriate parties pertaining to resolution. Prepares all claims for processing. Keeps open communication between, sales reps, distributors, consumers, district managers, retailers, and all appropriate parties within company. Sets independent inspections. Follow up on all claims, inspections and pending file. Database entries on all claims details. Manage complaint calls Gathers requested info and mails or faxes to appropriate parties Call backs to appropriate parties (distributor, retailer, customer) Response sheets to distributors Review samples submitted for claims, document, and follow up with plant Handles e-mail inquires Responds to e-mail inquiries by e-mail or in writing pertaining to product or technical questions pertaining to claims. Mail out literature pertaining to warranties and installation along with standardized letter to consumers.
