Education & Outreach Scientist - (Baltimore, MD)

The Space Telescope Science Institute, located on the campus of Johns Hopkins University, is seeking a motivated, team-focused Education & Outreach Scientist for our Office of Public Outreach (OPO). This position will support the NASA --??s Universe of Learning science education program, as well as contribute to public and community engagement activities for the Hubble Space Telescope and James Webb Space Telescope. The Education & Outreach Scientist will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and work collaboratively with other OPO and STScI staff and external partners to incorporate NASA Astrophysics mission science, technology, and ability into a range of education and outreach products, programs, and experiences. The individual acts as a liaison between OPO staff, STScI partners, and the science community and serves as a scientific expert and participant in product and program development. The applicant may work in multiple areas of science education, outreach, and communications.
