Manufacturing Engineer - (Rochester, MN)

Our client located in Rochester, MN is looking for a Contract Manufacturing Engineer. This is a six to twelve month contract. GENERAL SUMMARY: This function of this position is to develop, coordinate and control the technical activities of manufacturing, quality, product design, tooling development, or application engineering Depending on the engineering discipline, the applicant may be responsible for cost reduction initiatives, developing and specifying fixtures and tools, developing layouts for implementation of new products, development of work standards, design of new and existing product, development of quality tools, root cause analysis, development of weld, paint and assembly standards, and CNC programming. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Implementation of customer focused process/product improvements.
