Sr Qc Engineer Tier 1 - (Clemson, SC)

This position will drive scrap reduction in the Quality Department. Review and monitor quality system qualifications to assure procedures are adequate and in compliance. Analyze internal and external quality data and initiate effective corrective actions to reduce and eliminate adverse trends. Provide quality technical support to all process owners. Key indicators of success will be the effective improvement and implementation of an overall quality system that is centered on an engaged workforce, working relentlessly to improve all aspect of manufacturing performance. Must be able to investigate, analyze data and implement practical solutions to process customer issues. Must be able to envision opportunities for process improvement and act on those ideas through equipment modification, process improvement, material changes, etc. Must have the expertise to use data effectively to understand the existing process capability and the opportunity for improvement.
