Manager, Blood Bank Job summary As the Blood Bank Manager, you will manage, plan, organize and evaluate staff and activities of the Blood Bank Laboratory. You will also, develop and implement new technical procedures, as well as, oversee quality control programs. Further, you will assist in the management and supervision of the staff and the department's day to day operations. Position duties include: Evaluates, develops and implements new technical procedures for Blood Bank to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of services, and oversees labs quality control and QA programs.Assists in the development of policies and procedures, in compliance with various regulatory agencies. Maintains established technical and operational standards to ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting agencies.Assists with the development and implementation of budgets.Coordinates collection and preparation of statistical data, as required.Maintains and organizes inventory of blood products and reagents.
