CNC Machinist - (Broussard, LA)

The CNC Machine Operator II supports manufacturing and engineering by producing production parts, new tools and fixtures, and/or development of manufacturing processes requiring grinding, lapping, or CNC equipment. The position is a role with a strong initial focus on process simplification and improvement and must be able to work independently and within a team. Minimum requirements: High-school certificate/GED or local equivalent five or more years technical background working in a machine shop, programming and operating CNC machines and other metal working equipment. 2yrs technical background in CNC Machining and/or Tool and Die Journeyman card. Expertise to perform Machine Tool Math (including trigonometry). Expertise to perform detail oriented work and complete projects on time Basic computer knowledge. Expertise to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed.
