Firmware Development Engineer (1 yr rolling Contract) - (Lexington, KY)

Job Duties: Develop, maintain and leverage embedded firmware features for hardware platforms. Embedded firmware features include network connectivity protocols, mobile connectivity support, and connectivity solutions. Assignments include implementation of industry standards, protocols, and libraries to provide connectivity features for embedded product firmware. Additional responsibilities may include performance analysis, integrating open source packages within existing embedded firmware, and specification or creation of development tools. Specific Job assignments: -Design, Develop, Debug and Maintain embedded firmware including Linux application, library, and user level programming. -Evaluate, integrate, and maintain open source software within an embedded firmware environment. -Work within the team to coordinate project development within product family development paradigm. -Coordinate investigation of connectivity issues across multiple products
