Safety/Environmental Manager - (Smithfield, NC)

Safety/Environmental Manager Corestaff Services is currently recruiting for a Safety/Environmental Manager for a manufacturing facility in Smithfield, NC. The required functions of this position include: • Daily monitoring of Plant environmental and Safety activities • Maintain all local, state and federal regulatory qualifications and compliance’s for air, water and solids emissions. • Complete monthly and yearly compliance reports as required • Maintain budgetary details, control and accountability for all safety and environmental activities • Develop and implement multiple shift safety qualifications, maintaining full OSHA compliance with regard to metal processing, wet and powder painting, metal stamping, and FRP molding. • Conduct plant wide safety/environmental training and auditing in accordance with published qualifications • Actively engage plant personnel for cost reductions and process improvements.
